This task is led by the CoreGRID project supported by the AKOGRIMO project.

Objectives and activities:

- All new instruments have significant budgets for training. Coordination among them can increase the impact and reduce costs. Training material can be developed jointly and made available to other projects.

- Joint training events can be held potentially linked to the Grid Summer School proposed by CoreGrid.

- Old instruments can contribute by providing training on the specific research areas they address. STREPs may provide training in their niche technology areas.

XtreemOS specific commitment to this task:

The training workshops organized by XtreemOS will be open to participants belonging to other FP6 Grid-related projects. Partners of the XtreemOS project may participate to training activities organized by other FP6 Grid-related projects when appropriate.
