Cloudscape offers an important opportunity to gain insight into the successful deployment of cloud computing and understand how it is shaping European enterprise. The Workshop will highlight the differences and similarities between clouds, distributed and utility computing through focused discussions, analyst perspectives and use cases, bringing into sharp focus key challenges surrounding this new technology. Top-level challenges high on the agenda include policy & legal issues, security and privacy, underscoring the real need for open standards that foster interoperability and service level agreements, enabling users to make informed choices based costs and performance.
