XtreemOS summit at Euro-Par 2009
XtreemOS is a Linux-based operating systems that includes Grid functionalities. It is characterised by properties such as transparency, hiding the complexity of in the underlying distributed infrastructure; scalability, supporting hundreds of thousands of nodes and millions of users; and dependability, providing reliability, high availability and security.
The XtreemOS summit includes talks about XtreemOS services and components. Selected demonstrations will show the benefits of using XtreemOS technology followed by an open discussion slot. There will be no call for papers.

Location & Registration
The XtreemOS Summit 2009 will take place in conjunction with the Euro-Par 2009 conference at Conference Center of the Delft University of Technologyin Delft, the Netherlands, in the afternoon of August 25th, 2009 (just before the Euro-Par 2009 Welcome Reception).
Registration is a two-step process:
- Register at the EuroPar 2009 conference:
- Inform the XtreemOS organizers on your participation sending an email to email@example.com
The conference and workshops registration fees are as follows (the amounts are in Euros). For attending the XtreemOS summit only, it is sufficient to register for the Workshops.

Open Source Software Release
The first XtreemOS software release is available here.
The second release will be available in Summer 2009.
